Getting Started!

Your newspaper is publishing Sand Dollars, a seven-week serial story about two enterprising beach-town kids - brother and sister - who are trying to raise money for their mom's college education.

Each week, read the story in the newspaper, and then return here to answer questions that explore the story, its characters, writing techniques, and newspaper activities. Students of all ages can answer some of the questions; others are more challenging.

The questions and activities that match each chapter help you dig a little deeper into Sand Dollars. You can even slip into a pair of sandals if it helps to put you in the mood!
